At DC, he was the assistant editor on New Teen Titans and L.E.G.I.O.N, associate editor on the Superman books, and developed and edited Superboy, Steel, and Young Heroes in Love. At Marvel, he edited several titles in the X-Men line, including Generation X, Excalibur, and Mutant X, as well as the final issues of What If volume 2.
